Almalinux 9.4 - Issues after upgrading ProLiant ML110 Gen10

Hi, just did an upgrade of a almalinux 9 installation.
Previous kernel was 5.14.0-362.24.2
After dnf upgrade (and reboot) a 10Gbit pci network card stopped working (5.14.0-362.18.1.el9_3). Also unable to use a keyboard (neither by ILO or directly attached via USB).

Had to boot on older kernel (now network is okish and keyboard working).
Network is slow though

Any tips what is going on?

Upgraded an old laptop yesterday without issues at all, but the HP server got serious issues.

@leif-g 3 latops + 3 PC’s + 1 HPE server here. Updated all 7 flawlessly. Do you have up-to-date firmware in your ProLiant card?

Hi, latest SPP installed (2024.04.00).
Tried removing all PCI cards, still froze.
Had another identical HD (original HPE S3710 Series) and reinstalled OS from Almalinux 9.4 minimal iso, and everything ok. “Something” seems to have gone wrong in the upgrade process.

Was I just unlucky?

Hi, the issie probably related to Crowdstrike Falcon agent.

For reference, issue is now resolved upstream vendor.

Guess everything ok when updated to kernel-5.14.0-427.18.1.el9_4.x86_64.rpm
