I 've recently made my HP ENVY x360 laptop a dual-boot machine. It came with windows 11. I have successfully installed almalinux 9.4 Ocelot and it seems to work fine except: I have no sound. Long story short, I’ve been asking chatGPT questions and it is stuck! The last error message i received was:
make[3]: *** No rule to make target ‘certs/rhel.pem’, needed by ‘certs/x509_certificate_list’. Stop.
make[2]: *** [scripts/Makefile.build:485: certs] Error 2
make[1]: *** [/home/gregh/Downloads/linux-6.10.6/Makefile:1934: .] Error 2
make: *** [Makefile:240: __sub-make] Error 2
after running the make command, and variations, several times, it still gives this error message. The driver i downloaded is from realtek and it appears to be the latest one for linux. It is the linux 6.10.6 one.
Anyone have any ideas?
