Alma 8 package names different to RHEL?

On my ALMA 8 install the rsync package I originally had on the system was called:
A subsequent security upgrade replaced with rsync-3.1.3-14.el8.x86_64

Now when I issue yum updateinfo list sec I am told there is a needed upgrade:
rsync-3.1.3-14.el8_6.2.x86_64 where an extra ‘_6.2’ appears in the package name but the versions are otherwise the same.

Maybe ‘_6.2’ is a new version, but ALSA-2022:2201 suggests these both belong to a single errata entry. Furthermore, I keep a database of when my system first sees security updates so I know that ‘rsync-3.1.3-14.el8_6.2.x86_64’ appeared in the yum update info around May 19th 2022, and then ‘rsync-3.1.3-14.el8.x86_64’ appeared later on June 2nd, and now we are back to the ‘_6.2’ naming convention (date unknown).

I note that the RHEL equivalent package does not exhibit this behavior, there is simply rsync-3.1.3-14.el8_6.2.x86_64 from May and now rsync-3.1.3-14.el8_6.3.x86_64 from August.

Shouldn’t the ALMA package names and history exactly reflect the RHEL one?
