For (true audio) sync we are still using HP ZCentral and found out, that when using a clean install of Alma 9.4 there would be audio problems with the remote software (PulseRecorder::createPulseSession: Failed to create pulse audio session: unable to connect context.) These dont exist when updating at least from 9.2 to 9.4 (9.3 we didnt test). Diagnostics are a bit hard, cause there are hardly any logs, but if not yet done it would be great if it could be fixed for upcomming versions.
That’s problematic. Have you reached out to the HP folks yet? They might have already had the big reported to them, but if not that’s definitely the place to start.
Is alsa-sof-firmware installed? Was Server with GUI selected or Workstation? Workstation supports audio fine, but Server with GUI has issues.
