On windows server 2022 standard with Hyper-v creating VM for for Almalinux 8.x work fine but for 9.x boot failure happen
I have Alma 9 clients on hyper v 2022 hosts without issue.
How did you create the vms? Can you provide more detail about what fails when?
steps of vm creation as following:
Generation 1
Memory 4096 MB
connection: the defualt switch
image file: (.iso) E:\AlmaLinux-9.6-aarch64-dvd.iso
when try to connect and start this message show on the terminal:
Boot failure. Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device
The host machine is Dell 3040 pc
I was using the wrong architecture aarch64, switched 86_64 and the installation went ok
