The descriptions of the “Active Support” and “Security Support” phases suggests to me that Firefox will not get updated to new versions in AlmaLinux 9 after May 2027. But Firefox in AlmaLinux 8 was in fact updated from ESR 115 to 128 after its Active Support phase has ended. Is this the rule or was this just an exception?
After May 2027, AlmaLinux 9 should continue to receive Firefox ESR rebases and security fixes throughout Security Support, as long as Red Hat publishes them for RHEL 9 (which has been the norm). Keep tracking the latest 9.x minor, because older minors are EOL and won’t receive the new Firefox builds.
