We have an ESXi server running on hardware that supports AVX. On this server, I’ve installed an Alma Linux VM but couldn’t find the AVX flag in the lscpu output. I have already enabled Expose hardware-assisted virtualization to the guest OS for the Alma VM, but it didn’t help.
On the same hardware, a CentOS 7 VM shows the AVX flag without any issues. Can you help resolve this?
