AWS c7i-flex support

Hello, I am a user of the Almalinux 9 x86 image on AWS.

We are trying to migrate our workloads to a c7i-flex instance type but as of the latest version (9.7.20251118) it appears it is not supported due to a marketplace restriction.

I notice that m7i-flex is supported, as are the largest c7i-flex instance types (c7i-flex.12xlarge, c7i-flex.24xlarge) however the smaller c7i-flex instance types are missing. This looks like an oversight. How can we go about getting c7i-flex instance type support enabled or the Almalinux Foundation-provided AMI?

Hey,

Sorry it took us a few days to get to this. I’ve just submitted updates to the AMIs for 8, 9, 10, and Kitten 10. By the time you see this reply you should be able to use the official AMIs on all of the flex types :slight_smile:
