HI, I’m trying to switch to Almalinux from Centos 7 - and the leapp preupgrade fails with " 1. Inhibitor: Newest installed kernel not in use". However, I only have one kernel installed:
- rpm -qa | grep kernel
kernel-headers-3.10.0-1160.102.1.el7.x86_64
kernel-tools-libs-3.10.0-1160.102.1.el7.x86_64
kernel-3.10.0-1160.102.1.el7.x86_64
kernel-tools-3.10.0-1160.102.1.el7.x86_64
It appears that this problem is specific to Linode. Have you successfully upgraded from Centos 7 on Linode to Almalinux ?
