I would like to ask you is there security update for gnome-shell concerning CVE-2024-36472 in Almalinux 9? According to (CVE-2024-36472) Portal helper should require user input before loading remote content (#7688) · Issues · GNOME / gnome-shell · GitLab issue was closed, ut I can’t find fix in Alma 9 repositories. D you have any time estimation for fixing it? Customer is pushing on me …

Red Hat’s assessment: cve-details
RH has released a fix for RHEL 8, but not yet for RHEL 9.

Traditionally, the estimates were “after RHEL releases fix”. (RHEL 8 did release 2024-08-13, Alma 8’s package is dated 2024-08-14.) Now sooner than that is also possible.
