GNOME Crash on Java application

I’m using Alma Linux 9.2 (also occurs on 9.4).
The GNOME version is 40.4.0
X11 as Window Manager

I have a java application, in some time, the Linux seems to crash, the screen blinks, and the Linux ask me for the password.

After a lot of investigation, I found that it might be the GNOME version, so i decided to test on Ubuntu, with GNOME 46, and the crash doesn’t occur.

I have logged everything using “journalctl -system -f”, but I got 82 pages of log, so I think it doesn’t fit in here.

I would like to continue using Alma Linux, but I need this to be fixed, I don’t think is my application, it’s running on Windows computers for more than 10 years, and now when we decided to migrate to Linux, we are facing this problem (It doesn’t occur on GNOME 46 +)

Any tips? Any ideas?

First thing is that the only supported AlmaLinux 9 is currently 9.5. Some third parties might sell support for older point releases, just like Red Hat sells for RHEL, but AlmaLinux focuses on the current version.

Second, AlmaLinux 9 aims to stay compatible with RHEL 9 and therefore rebasing packages is not quite feasible.

Ideally, one would reproduce the crash on CentOS Stream 9 and report the bug to Red Hat. If Red Hat fixes the issue for RHEL, then AlmaLinux will procure it too.

There are something, called “pastebin servers”, for bit longer texts. IME, one can start with the first error – if one can spot it from the log and if Java logs errors in “sane” manner.
