My question comes because my Laptop Dell 3520, and for example the Lenovo L14 gen2 and anothers laptops comes with this audio hardware.
it’s a painful issue for new users when they tried to install Alma.
I fixed the issue installing "alsa-sof-firmware " with this command:
dnf alsa-sof-firmware -y
All to get the “sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl driver”
The problem comes after install Alma Linux 9, and if you not surf in the network is impossible know this steps to understand why not working the audio.

install inxi
sudo dnf install inxi -y -
run it to get information about your audio device
sudo inxi -A -
verify the information:
Audio:
Device-1: Intel Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Audio
driver: **sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl**
Sound Server-1: ALSA v: k5.14.0-70.22.1.el9_0.x86_64 running: yes
