Libssh2.so.1 on upgrade from Cent0S 7 to Alma 8

I’m working on upgrading. Leapp upgrade produces this:

Problem: package libqxt-qt5-0.7.0-0.19.20130718giteaf6872f6ad4.el8.x86_64 from el8-epel requires libssh2.so.1()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed

  • conflicting requests

I don’t know what to look for: I would have expected the libssh2 package would also be in the EPEL repository. But if it isn’t, I don’t know how to tell leapp where to findn it.

Would it be easier to remove libqxt, run the upgrades (to Alma 8 and then Alma 9), and then re-install, or would that cause the Gnome desktop to blow up?

If libqxt is from EPEL, then it is an optional addition and not part of CentOS 7’s Gnome. (Gnome is not based on Qt, …)

I’d remove it.
