'login loop' after leapp upgrade 7to8

I just upgraded my system from 7 to 8 using leapp, but something may have gone wrong during the reboot in between. Now I can’t log in, and when I enter my password correctly, it turns back to the login screen, which is called “loop login”.

I tried login by ssh, still not work: wrong password will asking me for re-try; the right password will Network error: Software caused connection abort.

The system is not using GUI.

Here’s a picture of the front of the login screen.

How to see failed service log of the previous boot? (from rescue mode)

Also how to check the logs for leapp, the logs in /var/log/leapp don’t seem to be comprehensive.

Mainly because, a lot of other services and features are still working fine. It would certainly be better if it could be rescued. Otherwise I’d have to reinstall a whole new system.

After disabling Selinux in rescue mode, I was able to log in successfully.

But found that many packages were not installed successfully. I ended up reinstalling the entire OS.
