I found RPI images

Is there also NanoPI R4S support? Other ARM64 boards? There are so many.

This SIG seems not very active.

Did you try NanoPI R4S forum to find out for support of other OS?
If you have an R4S you can try to burn a image that is close to one of the official Pi hardware. No sure if you can damage a R4S with the wrong OS on a SD card.
I think you are not the first one who boots a Pi with the wrong OS. Maybe google on it.
