I have faced issues with nis on almalinux 8.9 & almalinux 10 where if i configure nis(enable ypbind service) & reboot the machine, machine will be stuck at ‘Failed to start udev kernel device manager’ & would never boot into os.
I have tried this solution from below hyperlink but in my case sss is not there in groups
& I am still facing the issue

Is this an old or a new installation?
Tried replicating the issue following How to configure RHEL 8 system as NIS client - Red Hat Customer Portal for installation but the system boots correctly
Kernel: 4.18.0-553.40.1.el8_10.x86_64
