Plans to expand virt toolkit

Hi everyone,

Is there any plan to include INCUS and re-include VIRT-MANAGER in Alma 10?

We use both to manage our virtual instances, but I see Incus does not exist and virtmanager was deprecated, is there any hope to see them again?

Thanks

Hello

Gipozzi1

I checked the relevant package on Almalinux10.

I checked virt-manager and Incus’ Almalinux packages.

■virt-manager

[root@dev-alma10 redadmin]# yum -y install virt-manager This seems to install normally.

Complete!
[root@dev-alma10 redadmin]# rpm -qa |grep virt-manager
virt-manager-common-5.0.0-1.el10.noarch
virt-manager-5.0.0-1.el10.noarch

■Incus
Please note that this appears to have been created by a volunteer. I recommend thoroughly testing it.

Please note that this is my personal testing.
This is not an official Almalinux issue.
This is a personal test.

Hello,

I shall verify why virt-manager was not available to me, thanks for your time.

Incus however is off repo, maybe it could be included in Alma directly?

Hello

I edited my previous post because it was hard to read.
Thank you for your understanding.
