Problem Installing AlmaLinux 9 (blank display)

I am trying to install a fresh copy of AlmaLinux on a Dell computer.

Just after the process starts, the screen goes blank and nothing else is shown.

I have tried the troubleshoot/text install path.

This is with minimal install using a USB drive.

Any suggestions?

Shot in the dark here, but is there any chance it’s a power save mode of some kind?

I found out that I needed to connect my monitor to the HDMI port instead of a display port.

Thanks for the idea. This wasn’t an obvious solution.

It is indeed possible that when there are multiple ports, the GPU sends the (initial text mode) output to only one of them.
