Security Advisories - Digest Format - Versions

Howdy Gang,

I signed up for the security advisories which is great service. Back in the CENTOS days these would come in a single email in digest format with the advisories all listed within the single or a few email(s). Further it was segregated to the specific version(s) you were running or signed up for.

With Alma they come in as a flood of individual messages for all version of Alma. I queried earlier on about this but I gather that any change was way down on the list of things to do. Is there anyone in the Security Advisory group that know if these changes could happen? It would be very nice to not have to sort through all the individual messages.

I think the following measures are the only options.

  1. I don’t think there is an official response yet.

  2. You have no choice but to organize your emails yourself (email rules).

  3. We will continue to encourage feedback.

Hokay, thanks for the follow up. I’ll just continue to group delete the mails and then do my dnf upgrades.
