Stopped booting - grubx64.efi not found

Hi there -

I have a dual boot machine that has been working wonderfully until today. I tried to restart it and am now seeing the following error:

Failed to open \EFI\almalinux\grub64.efi - Not Found
Failed to load image XX: Not Found
start_image() returned Not Found, falling back to default loader

Installation is Alma Linux 9.5

I need to boot and access my school assignment, which is due urgently. Thanks for any help!

Following up as I was able to solve the problem and might be useful to others. The grubx64.efi file appears to have been removed after a recent WIndows update. (How is that even possible? Seems quite devious.) At any rate, I was able to copy the missing file over from a flash drive that had a live install on it. Only that file was missing.
