Support Period of PHP 8.0 on AlmaLinix 9

Hello,

I have confirmed through the AlmaLinux Wiki that AlmaLinux 9 is supported until 2032/05/31 and that PHP 8.0 is provided throughout the entire life cycle.
Is PHP 8.0 supported until 2032/05/31, the same as AlmaLinux 9?

Additionally, if Apache and Postfix were installed from the AlmaLinux 9 repository, will they also be supported until the end of the support period for AlmaLinux 9, which is 2032/05/31?

Regards,

AlmaLinux 9 aims to stay compatible with RHEL 9.

RHEL has Application Streams, although the 9 not as excessively as the 8. See Red Hat Enterprise Linux Application Streams Life Cycle - Red Hat Customer Portal

Among those, RHEL 9 has PHP 8.0 as Full Life Application Stream. If RHEL 9 has PHP 8 all the way, then AlmaLinux 9 will too, in order to remain compatible.
The Apache httpd 2.4 is also a “full life” version.

That page does not list Postfix at all. With no other mention, postfix can be expected to be in the distro until May '32.

Overall, Red Hat’s Application Stream concept is to offer one version, “stream”, of package (e.g. PHP) that is supported the entire life cycle of the distro’s major version (to 2032 for el9) and optionally other versions, with shorter supported lifetime. E.g. PHP 8.1 stream exists Nov '22 to May '25.
