Dear All,
To access taskbar, I need to press window button every time,
Is there anyway to put taskbar in the bottom or left side in Alma-Linux 9?
I installed tweak for min/max windows, but I could not find option for taskbar.
Cheers

If you are using the Gnome which came as default, You can open the “Software” (the application where you can install new tools by GUI with “Shopping bag” icon) then search the Gnome Tweaks and Extensions, when you find them in the search result install both of them.
or use the following
sudo apt install gnome-tweaks -y
sudo apt install gnome-shell-extensions -y
Use the Gnome Tweaks to customize the Appearance, Fonts, Top bar and Windows related things, which you will found out very useful
Use the Extensions, after you open it, there is option as “Window List” which is like toolbar/taskbar of Windows OS, if you enable it at the bottom of you screen the second bar well be shown, then use the “Gear” icon to customize it.
I have both tools on all of my AlmaLinux workstations, which has GUI, both of them are really useful, you can find more extensions at their website extensions .gnome.org
The package manager command is dnf, not apt
(There is also symlink yum to dnf to help port older automation.)
Saying yes to everything is not always good. It is ok when you know what you are doing, but not when you are not totally sure.
The dnf can handle more than one package simultaneously. Hence:
sudo dnf install gnome-tweaks gnome-shell-extensions
