I am trying to upgrade from Centos 7.9 to Almalinux 8 following ths guide -

I have followed everything up to the ‘leapp upgrade’ followed by the reboot.
When the server boots i select the ELevate-Upgrade-Initramfs option and get the attached screenshot -
Ive seen someone else suggest running ‘grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg’ but i am very nervous to do so as right at the moment i am able to reboot and select back to the centos 7 option on the menu and the server boots back fine.
Any advice would be appreciated!
something else i just saw as a possible reason (??)… my server has SOFTWARE raid1 on the root disk -

Could this be connected to why it has the read only error, and in which case what should i do?
any help with this would be really appreciated
so does the leapp-upgrade actually work or what should i do?
