Im look to upgrade Openssh from 8.0p1 to the latest version on AlmaLinux v8.9.0 STANDARD kvm with cPanel. Please advise how to proceed?

That gives what Alma 8 has.
Alma is compatible with RHEL.
RHEL does not have 8.0p1.
RHEL has its own version, initially forked from 8.0p1.
