Will 8.7 receive security updates until 2029?

I have a question about 8.7. The Release Notes page (Release Notes | AlmaLinux Wiki) says, “Version 8 will have active support until 31 May 2024, and security support until 31 May 2029. Release of new 8.x version ends support for the previous version.”

Does this mean that only the latest version of 8.x receives security support until 2029 and that older versions of 8.x do not receive ongoing security support, or is it true that all versions in 8.x will receive security support until 2029?

The 8.7 has not received anything since 8.8 was released in May 2023. (Or put other way: 8.8 was the security support – until 8.9 was released, etc.)

There might be some companies that sell commercial support. Not necessarily for 8.7. (E.g. Red Hat sells support for RHEL 8.6 and RHEL 8.8 – in addition to supporting RHEL 8.10 – but not for RHEL 8.7.)
